We thought that we would write a special blog to thank you for your support throughout 2019.  Whether you have read our social media posts, looked at our website, come to some of our events or had coaching from us we would like to say Thank You!

We know that some people have not found 2019 to be an easy year and it is easy to blame external circumstances or other people for this.  As our clients know, developing a positive mindset and an ability to accept your reality really does help when dealing with difficult issues and facing life’s challenges.  There is one thing certain about a new year (and life in general) – challenges will not disappear.  However, challenges often provide an opportunity to learn if we face the challenges with the right mindset.  

People with a positive mindset will appreciate more the good things in their lives.  Some people tend to overlook these and focus on the negative and dwell on the things that aren’t so good.  If this is you, why not start a Gratitude diary?  It can help to remind you of all the good things in your life if you write down one or more things that you are grateful for each day.

If you start the new year in a positive frame of mind, set some SMART* goals (rather than New Year’s Resolutions), if you take ‘baby steps’ towards achieving these goals and, very importantly, keep on going if things do not go to plan sometimes, you are starting the new year off in a very good way.
