Have you got anything that you have always wanted to do but you haven’t started to do anything about yet?
Do you not think that you need to start taking them NOW? Whether you do or whether you don’t probably depends on whether this is really a goal or just a dream?
A dream is something that you think you would like to achieve but you never get around to doing. For example, it may be to go on a long-haul trip somewhere that you have always wanted to visit or it could be to re-train to change your career, perhaps? If you have not started to do something about it, why is that? Is it because you think there will always be the time to do it at a later stage in your life? Will there be? How do you know? I am not meaning to be morbid but you may not have all the time you think! I am trying to get you to question how important the thing that you say you want to achieve actually is to you?
If you honestly want to do something but have not started working on it, what is holding you back? Is it the fear of change and stepping outside your comfort zone, perhaps? You will know by now (from earlier blogs) that my advice is to take small steps and gradually get out of your comfort zone. You will find that your comfort zone gradually gets bigger and the things that you were so scared about become less scary and perhaps even enjoyable over time! Another reason why you have not started taking action may be that you do not know where to start.
